I totally get what you are saying and I'm pretty sure that others do as well, because i have missed tailored edits because I was too slow or they didn't come up all the way before they were taken, only to get them about 5 min. later when someone must have decided they weren't able to fulfill what was asked of them. Great for me, but definitely a problem for the person who submitted the photo. I don't pretend to know the answer to this, because by nature, the pool is a competitive place. But I'm pretty sure the Mendr team is looking at this to make the experience much better for everyone,. After all this is a business and while we are hoping to make money for ourselves, the positive experience for the customer is at the heart of our ability to do that, and that is what the team is good at. I am amazed that there are so few glitches in a new start up like this. It kind of boggles my mind. I just wanted to add my voice to yours as we see what answers they will come up with.
Secondly, about the fees for tailored edits, I sometimes find that they seem out of balance as well. However as I learn from different resources, I get "ah ha" moments about how to speed up a method I use. What I have comforted myself with, is that there are 1000 ways to do everything and while I can take an inordinate amount of time for some things, I'm pretty quick on others. I just toss it up to the fact that I haven't found the quick way to do that particular thing, but I have on this one. One of the most time consuming things I face is just what you brought up: searching for a particular resource. I'm sure everyone else has all their resources all organized and memorized so they can find that background they need in a heartbeat. I'm not there yet, but I am getting better. There is lots of help in here and out there. My learning curve tends to be a little steep, and things take me awhile.
